New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Seven (14 March)

Here I am taking one last look at Central Park as we headed back to the hotel for our transfer. I've had the most amazing time on my Big Adventure and have lots of wonderful memories.

This was the first time I'd joined Barnaby on his travels but I hope I'm going to get to go on future trips, even if they aren't around the world. When I do I'll tell you all about them on this site.

New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Six - Evening (13 March)

We hadn't been eating very healthily in New York so we bought a fruit salad from Grand Central Market tonight and ate it in our room.

Here's Barnaby and me with Kiki, our Kiwi friend.

New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Six - Morning (13 March)

Here I am on the Staten Island ferry.

Would you believe the street where we caught the bus back to Manhattan is called Morris Street :-).

New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Four - Afternoon (11 March)

On our way to Central Park, we had a look round Grand Central Station, which has to be one of the most stunning railway terminuses in the world.

I also had a fabulous time at the Met.

New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Four - Morning (11 March)

American hotels don't usually provide breakfast as well as a bed so we had breakfast at the Pax cafe next door to the Helmsley yesterday and this morning we got a takeaway from there.

Barnaby and I asked for something chocolatey and we weren't disappointed: not only did we have hot chocolate to drink but a huge chocolate filled croissant to go with it :-).

New York: Day One Hundred and Forty-Two (9 March)

Here's Miss Robb and her Mummy wearing the coats they bought in San Francisco. It was a good job the jackets were fleece-lined because the temperature in New York was only 1 degree Celcius.

Barnaby was very grateful for his scarf (although you can't really see it in this photo) and I definitely needed my jumper back on. I was also happy to have the insulation of the rucksack :-).

San Francisco: Day One Hundred and Forty (7 March)

We really enjoyed our boat trip on the Lovely Martha and got very close to the bridge.

Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious icecream at Pier 39.

San Francisco: Day One Hundred and Thirty-Five (3 March)

Here's Barnaby and me in front of San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

As you can see we had a gorgeous day. Often the bridge is swathed in mist.

Fiji: Day One Hundred and Thirty-Two (29 February)

If you look really hard you might be able to spot me (and Barnaby) in this picture inside our bure. It's very nice isn't it?
