Townsville: Day Thirty-Seven (25 November)

This is a statue of a Dugong on the Strand at Townsville. They used to be called Sea Cows (because they eat Sea Grass) and sometimes Sea Elephants. (I expect you can see why:-)).

Townsville: Day Thirty-Six (24 November)

This is part of the coral exhibition in Reef HQ. Can you see any one you recognise?

Yes, Nemo or probably his cousin as Townsville is a long way from Sydney.

Do you remember where clown fish live?

That's right - in a sea anemone. Although it looks like a plant coral is actually a living creature too.

I really enjoyed the visit to Townsville Aquarium and finding out more about the Great Barrier Reef.
