Here I am taking one last look at Central Park as we headed back to the hotel for our transfer. I've had the most amazing time on my Big Adventure and have lots of wonderful memories.
This was the first time I'd joined Barnaby on his travels but I hope I'm going to get to go on future trips, even if they aren't around the world. When I do I'll tell you all about them on this site.
American hotels don't usually provide breakfast as well as a bed so we had breakfast at the Pax cafe next door to the Helmsley yesterday and this morning we got a takeaway from there.
Barnaby and I asked for something chocolatey and we weren't disappointed: not only did we have hot chocolate to drink but a huge chocolate filled croissant to go with it :-).
Here's Miss Robb and her Mummy wearing the coats they bought in San Francisco. It was a good job the jackets were fleece-lined because the temperature in New York was only 1 degree Celcius.
Barnaby was very grateful for his scarf (although you can't really see it in this photo) and I definitely needed my jumper back on. I was also happy to have the insulation of the rucksack :-).
